This Privacy Policy is issued by SBTF Pty Ltd (ACN 676 615 160), trading as No.1 Hoops ("No.1 Hoops", "we", "our" or "us"), and explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect your Personal Information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), and other applicable Australian laws.
By accessing our Facility, becoming a Member, attending a trial, booking a court, participating in competitions or coaching programs, using our website, or otherwise providing us with your Personal Information, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
2. What Information We Collect
Depending on your interaction with No.1 Hoops, we may collect Personal Information including:
- Name, date of birth and contact details
- Emergency contact information
- Membership and account information
- Payment and billing information
- Booking and attendance history
- QR code access records and facility entry logs
- CCTV footage and security recordings
- Photographs and videos taken during competitions, training sessions or events
- Health or medical information voluntarily provided by you
- Communications between you and No.1 Hoops
- Information collected through our website, online forms, social media platforms and mobile devices
- Biometric information (such as facial recognition or identity verification information) where such technology is implemented and permitted by applicable law
- Facility usage information, including equipment usage, court bookings, shooting machine usage, attendance records, participation history and member activity • Competition participation records, player statistics, rankings and other sporting information where applicable
- Any other information reasonably required to provide our services.
You may choose not to provide certain information; however this may limit the services we can provide.
3. How We Collect Information
We collect Personal Information when you apply for membership, sign waivers, make bookings, purchase products or services, attend our Facility, use QR access, contact us, visit our website, participate in competitions or coaching programs, or otherwise interact with us.
We may also receive information from authorised representatives, parents or guardians, payment providers, membership management systems and other third parties where permitted by law. Information may also be collected through future mobile applications, digital member platforms and other technologies introduced by No.1 Hoops.
4. Why We Collect Your Information
We use your information to manage memberships, verify identity, process payments, provide facility access, administer bookings and competitions, communicate with Members, maintain safety and security, investigate incidents, comply with legal obligations, respond to emergencies, improve our services and operate our business.
5. CCTV and Facility Security
CCTV operates throughout the Facility to protect Members, visitors, staff and property. Footage may be used for security, incident investigations, insurance claims, dispute resolution, enforcement of our Terms and Conditions and where required by law. Access is limited to authorised personnel. CCTV systems may include AI-assisted monitoring technologies designed to enhance facility security, detect unauthorised access, improve operational efficiency and assist in incident investigations. Automated monitoring does not replace human decision-making.
6. Digital Access, QR Code Access and Entry Records
As a 24-hour facility, electronic access systems record entry times, access credentials, unsuccessful access attempts and other security information. These records assist in maintaining facility security and investigating unauthorised access or misuse. Digital access credentials may include QR codes, mobile credentials, electronic access systems or other authorised technologies introduced by No.1 Hoops from time to time.
7. Health Information
Health information is collected only where it is reasonably necessary to provide our services, respond to emergencies, or where it is voluntarily provided by you.
Where reasonably practicable, we may use this information to assist staff during emergencies, accommodate health requirements, or help ensure a safe environment within the Facility.
Sensitive Information is handled in accordance with applicable Australian privacy laws. Where reasonably necessary to protect your health or safety, we may contact your nominated emergency contact or emergency services.

8. Who We May Share Your Information With
We may disclose Personal Information to payment processors, membership software providers, cloud hosting and IT providers, accountants, legal advisers, professional consultants, auditors, insurers, public liability insurers, workers compensation insurers, insurance assessors, debt collection agencies, emergency services, government authorities, law enforcement agencies and other trusted service providers were reasonably necessary. We do not sell your Personal Information.
9. Payment Information
Payments are processed through secure third-party providers. No.1 Hoops does not intentionally store complete credit card details unless required by law or securely maintained by an authorised and reputable third-party payment providers.
10. Marketing Communications
We may send updates relating to memberships, promotions, competitions and events. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time, although important service-related notices will continue where necessary.
11. Photographs, Videos and Social Media
Photos and videos may be taken during competitions, coaching sessions and events for promotional purposes. Where reasonably practicable we will respect written requests not to appear in promotional material; however incidental inclusion at public events may not always be avoided.
12. Website Cookies and Analytics
Our website may use cookies, Google Analytics and similar technologies to improve website performance, analyse visitor activity and enhance the user experience. You may adjust your browser settings to refuse cookies, although some website functionality may be affected.
13. Children and Young People
No.1 Hoops is committed to protecting the privacy of children and young people. Where our services are provided to individuals under the age of 18, personal information will generally be collected from, or with the consent of, a parent or legal guardian, unless otherwise permitted or required by applicable law.
14. Overseas Disclosure
Some of our trusted service providers, cloud storage providers or technology platforms may store or process Personal Information outside Australia. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your Personal Information in accordance with Australian privacy laws. Such overseas service providers may include cloud hosting providers, membership management systems, communication platforms and other technology service providers.

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards including restricted staff access, password protection and secure cloud services. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Where biometric information is collected, additional security measures appropriate to the sensitivity of such information will be implemented where reasonably practicable.

We retain Personal Information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, respond to insurance matters and protect our legitimate business interests. When Personal Information is no longer required, we will take reasonable steps to securely destroy or de-identify it where appropriate.

This may include changes in ownership of one or more No.1 Hoops facilities or related business operations.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Where required by law, we will notify Members of material changes to this Privacy Policy.

We may engage trusted third-party service providers to assist in operating our business, including membership management systems, booking platforms, payment processors, communication platforms, cloud hosting providers, security systems, identity verification providers, IT support providers and other business service providers.
These providers may collect, store or process Personal Information on our behalf solely for the purpose of providing services to No.1 Hoops and are expected to implement appropriate security measures consistent with applicable privacy laws.
23. Automated Systems and Technology
No.1 Hoops may use automated systems and technology to assist with membership administration, facility access, security monitoring, booking management and operational efficiency. Such systems are used to support our services and do not replace human decision-making where significant decisions affecting individuals are made.
24. Legal Disclaimer
Members are responsible for ensuring that the information they provide is accurate and up to date. Nothing in this Policy excludes any rights that cannot legally be excluded under Australian law.
